The short version
Blip exists to deliver your own notifications to your own phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics SDKs in the app, and your data is never sold or shared. We store the minimum needed to deliver pushes and show your inbox, and nothing else.
What we store
- An anonymous install identifier. Generated on your device on first launch. It is not tied to your name, email, or Apple ID.
- Your device's push token.Issued by Apple, used only to deliver notifications through Apple's Push Notification service.
- Your notifications and channels. The titles, bodies, links, and channel names your integrations send us, stored so your inbox syncs and survives reinstalls. Deleting a channel in the app permanently deletes its notifications.
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing data with third parties.
- No advertising or tracking SDKs in the app.
- No third-party push relay: notifications go from our servers straight through Apple's Push Notification service.
- No reading anything else on your device.
Where it lives
Data is stored on managed infrastructure (Vercel and Neon Postgres) and transmitted over HTTPS. Notification content passes through Apple's Push Notification service to reach your device, per Apple's own policies.
The launch list
If you join the email list on this site, your address goes to our newsletter system with double opt-in and one-click unsubscribe. That list is independent of the app; the app never asks for an email.
Deleting your data
Delete a channel to permanently delete its notifications. To wipe everything, delete the app and message @MohamedDewidar_ and we'll remove the rest, or it simply sits unused and unlinked to any identity.
